Our Story
Bulldog Concrete, INC was founded in January 2012 by Chris Pittman, a seasoned expert in the concrete construction industry who was named Contractor of the Year in a National Magazine in 2004. The business is headquartered in Hoschton, GA. Chris started Bulldog Concrete out of his passion for concrete work, which he had been doing for more than 20 years.
Chris previously owned a Concrete Construction Business called GA Foundations, INC. He had started GA Foundations, INC with his late wife, Pam. However, the recession of 2006 led to the company’s collapse in 2010. Chris tried his luck in other areas of the construction business but to no avail. Finally, in January 2012, he decided to start another Concrete Construction Business, now known as Bulldog Concrete.
Over the past 10 years, Bulldog Concrete has grown steadily, thanks to Chris’s knowledge, experience, and leadership. Despite the many obstacles the company has faced, Chris has always been resilient and persistent, guided by his favorite verse from the Bible, “A man may fall seven times, but he keeps getting up” (Proverbs 24:16).
The company is named Bulldog Concrete after Chris’s wife Karin’s love for her pet bulldog, Abraham.
